The 2017 Dock Pull took place on September 23rd and the we couldn't have asked for more cooperation from Mother Nature. It was a cool but sunny day with very little wind. All of the boats out of the way, a good turnout and an early start helped to get things moving along!
This year all of the docks and slips have been stored together at the far side of the inlet. Hopefully they will remain there until the spring load out!
By the early afternoon there were plenty of hearty appetite and lots of time to enjoy the delicious sandwiches and coffee provided by Bernadette, along with a wide assortment of sweets and snacks that club members had brought along. That's it for another sailing season! Have a great winter and see you next spring!

<![CDATA[August Fun Rally]]>Wed, 30 Aug 2017 00:43:05 GMThttp://wildwoodsailingclub.ca/social-events/august-fun-rally
There was a good turnout for the final sailing rally of the 2017 season with about a dozen sailboats on the water. The wind was up and the cloudy skies became sunny and blue as the afternoon wore on!
Sailors went in search of 5 nautical flags posted from the dam down to rock bay, and even when it was clear that people had collected all of their letters, many stayed out to enjoy the almost perfect sailing weather.
