It was a fine day, though with rather variable winds. Donal in the Minuet managed to pip Les in the Edel 665, riding a breeze to catch and overtake him. Here is Donal receiving the Cup. Special mention for Hans who eventually finished despite the handicap forgetting to bring his Jib to the club!

]]><![CDATA[Rum Runner - 8 July 2023]]>Mon, 10 Jul 2023 18:22:56 GMThttp://wildwoodsailingclub.ca/race-results-2023/rum-runner-8-july-2023From flat calm, to wind, to steady rain, the Rum Runner had it all for the 5 entrants, resulting in a shortened race on Saturday, some retirements,  and postponement of dinner. Congratulations to Donal in the Minuet for first place, and Richard in the Edel 540 who crossed the line 3rd, but pipped Les to second place on handicap by about 30 seconds!

Well that wraps up the official race season for 2019! Congratulations to Les & Jerry for taking first place in an Edel 665. And congratulations to Arnold and Jane for sailing into second place in a Kerry Dancer.
