On Sunday May 18, a beautiful sunny day, 35 club members and guest enjoyed a delicious breakfast which traditionally marks the start of the sailing season. Bob and Rosemary Schwalm prepared honey garlic sausages and western style scrambled eggs which were the stars of the breakfast. Pam Mulholland prepared juice and toast and members rounded out the buffet with fruit and various pastries. Gerry Cappleman provided coffee for a great finish to a great meal. Following the breakfast, the tables were removed from the pavilion in preparation for the spreading of stone dust on the pavilion floor. The flagpole was installed. and all is in readiness. Let the season begin. For more photos go to WSC photobucket here and for even more click here. (Pam & Lorne's)

We had a great turnout despite the chilly weather. Pavilion was set up, tables cleaned, gutters dealth with. The grounds were expertly raked but due to some unseasonably cold weather there was no prep done on the docks beforehand so they were only partially installed. The rain date, May 4 will be used to finish the job. Club meeting followed. For more photos click here (WSC photobucket) and here (Pam & Lorne's site).
